Julie from Vinylize It sent me some of her beautiful acrylic shapes and asked if I would consider making a video to teach her customers how to apply vinyl decals to the acrylic shapes.
These shapes are a lot of fun so I designed my own decals for two of her keychain shapes. Above is the vintage shape to which I applied a zebra striped decal that has a space for a monogram. I used my circular monogram font to add my monogram to my new keychain.
As promised in the video below, here are the sizes for the acrylic shapes:
- vintage shape 3″ tall x 2.003″ wide
- mason jar 2.5″ tall x 1.474″ wide
- anchor 3″ tall x 2.464″ wide
- circle 2.5″
- rectangle 3.5″ tall x 1.25″ wide
- space for monogram .75″ tall x .75″ wide
Be sure to check out Julie’s Facebook group and get yourself some of these high-quality, fun shapes.
Below is the video I made to teach others how to use a Silhouette Cameo to create their own custom keychains or other items.
I used Oracal 651 vinyl in my video. The two designs I created are available in my Etsy shop. There is the Vintage shape with zebra stripes, the Mason jar with the chevron design and my circular monogram font.
